More Photos

I had a few minutes to play around with some of my pictures I took Saturday and here are some of them in black and white. I hope oneday to have a great program on my computer where I can do some amazing things to my pictures, but for now what I have will do! Feel free to leave comments!

Photo Shoot at Macclay Gardens

This past Saturday Summer and I decided to make the trek to Macclay Gardens in Tallahassee with the hopes of taking some great pictures of our children! Well, it was a fun and interesting trip! We got the kids some lunch from Sonic and then headed to Tally! They did good in the car ride down there, thank God! Once we got there I think Madison and Andrew were both pretty tired and therefore they didn't want to take many pictures at first! Luckily we coaxed them into taking some pictures with the promise of ice cream in their future!! (Bribery can work) I think between Summer's camera and my camera we took about 500 pictures, we were hoping to have some that turned out really good!! Here are some of the pictures I took...check back later and I'll post some more! I still would love to be a photographer, maybe oneday!!!

Pictures from Easter

Here are some pictures of both kids from Easter. Carrie was in south Georgia with Papa and KK and Andrew was in north Georgia with michael and me. Maybe I'll get some pictures of them together in their pretty Easter clothes!

Long Drive

Well, last night about 8:00 pm I decided that Andrew and I needed to leave Clayton to head to Thomasville! I decided that we should go ahead and leave because of the bad weather that we would have to drive in today if we waited. Well, I packed everything up and at 9:00 pm we left!! Andrew fell asleep south of Atlanta and didn't wake back up until we pulled into the Keown's drive way at 1:45 am. It was a long drive, but there was absolutely NO traffic on the road, which made it great~ I didn't make a stop and made it here in under 5 hours, maybe that's the way I should travel everytime???

Egg Hunt

Today we had a fun day! We colored Easter Eggs this morning. Andrew was hilarious, he spilt orange egg dye everywhere, but it cleaned up! We were also invited to go to an Easter Egg Hunt at a church member's house and it was a ball! Andrew had so much fun running and playing with the other kids that were there, he had even more fun when it came time to hunt eggs! I think he collected about 30 eggs! There were eggs everywhere!!! Here are a few pictures from today's festivities! I know I'll post more tomorrow of him in his Easter outfit.
Carrie is in South Georgia with KK and Papa and I sure am missing her! I know she's having a great time though! Can't wait to see her in a few days! We decided to let her go south because she wanted to go to KK and Papa's all by herself! It's hilarious, she loves spending time with them alone without me and andrew is what she says! I'll post pictures of her as soon as KK emails me some!

Photo Shoot with Andrew

Well, some of you know that one of my favorite things to do is take pictures of my children. I like taking pictures of others as well! I decided that since Carrie is with KK and Papa I would take Andrew out for his very own photo shoot. When there are 2 kids it's hard to get individual pictures. Well, Andrew is hilarious! You'll see in some of the pictures when he says cheese joy is written all over his face! He is such a cutie and I am so blessed to have him as a part of my life. I'm blessed to have both of my children as part of my life! God is good!!

Papa and KK

My kids were thrilled last night when their Papa and KK came up for a visit. Last night was freezing cold so we had a fire and the kids laid in front of the fire with KK, Carrie enjoyed that so much! Carrie thought they were going to sleep there last night and was slightly upset when we told her that she had to sleep in her bed, but she understood when Sally Sad Spoon was threatened!

Papa and Andrew had a ball today watching racing! Papa is racing cars now and Andrew is big into racing. They sat there for about 30 minutes watching over and over again racing video from Papa's race a couple of weeks ago, it was quite comical to me. Now Andrew keeps saying he wants to race! I sure hope that it is a phase!!

Snow in April

Well, it is April 7th and it has been snowing ALL day here! My in-laws are here on spring break and they are seeing snow in north Georgia. How funny is that? Mr. Mike said they should have gone to the beach, but they chose to see us!
Ms. Kathy and I got caught in what we thought was a blizzard (well, it was for us south georgians) while shopping in downtown Clayton. It was a new experience for me! It has been neat watching the snow fall today though! The snow fell but never accumulated. It was neat, but I still can't believe that we had snow in North Georgia in April!!!

Housework

Well, I am trying to get the house all nice and clean because my in-laws are coming up on Monday! I like to have my house clean when they come, even though I know deep down they don't look at the house, only the kids!! It's amazing to me how our 1300 sq. ft house can get so dirty so fast! I feel like I am always cleaning! Well, we are all excited about the company coming, we love to have family and friends come see us! Well, got to get back to cleaning!!! :)
