Go Boost

We had our first soccer game of the season and it was a blast! Carrie played the best she's ever played, she getting real confident and going after the ball, she actually almost scored a goal last night too until her teammate stole the ball away and kicked it in the goal himself, it's okay though! Carrie has really improved and I can't wait to see how good she does this season....we're thinking maybe she will be an athlete after all! :)

Our team name is BOOST which means Beater Of Other Soccer Teams...I found it online and thought it was cute! We chose bright orange as our colors...someone said we look like an energy drink..ha! We are having a great time with soccer and look forward to our next game which is not until April 20.

Oh...we also won last night with a score of 5-3...GO BOOST!!!!

Summer and Madison Visit

What an exciting week we had! Summer and Madison came up to visit us for 5 days, it was great! They arrived late on Wednesday night and stayed until Sunday after church. The kids all had a blast playing with each other and Summer and I had a great time catching up with each other! Here are a few pictures from our adventures....

Signs of Spring...FINALLY

This has probably been the longest winter...or atleast it feels like it has been! It has definitely been the coldest winter I've seen in a long time, we had 2 weeks in December where it didn't get above freezing, this south georgia girl was freezing! I did enjoy the snow, but now I'm so ready for spring.

The kids and I went outside for a walk this afternoon to look at some of the flowers that are beginning to bloom. They had a good time searching for the beautiful flowers God has given us so far. We enjoyed being outside for a while, and notice they are wearing short sleeves...yeah! I'm loving this weather!!!

Snow Day...again!

Our House

March 2, 2010

It started snowing this morning and snowed all day long, big snowflakes! We decided to go buy a couple of sleds and take the kids sledding! We headed up to the Recreation Department and went sledding, the hill was pretty large and Carrie didn't enjoy it too much, but Andrew had a blast! After about an hour and a half the kids were done so we came home for naps.

After naps we went back outside to a neighbors house that has a hill and we sledded some more! Then we had a snowball fight! Today was so much fun for all of us, although I do think Michael probably had the most fun out of all of us!
