What a game!!!

Basketball is officially over and we went out with a BANG! Last night all 4 middle school teams played for the Region Champions. All teams ended up winning, but the final game of the night, 8th grade boys was a definite nail biter!
Michael is the coach for the 8th grade boys, and it was a nerve wrecking 24 minutes! We were up all game until the very last seconds of the game when it was tied 39-39! It looked like we were going into overtime until they fouled one of our players and Stetson had 2 free throws...he shot the first one and missed..*gasp* then the second one went up and fell in the net! What a game!
I was so proud of my husband and his players! Michael is an awesome coach, which in all honesty is quite surprising to me sometimes! But he does a phenomenal job with these boys! I love being a coach's wife and getting to know these boys and their families! It's been a great season..we had a record of 11-1, what a season!
I'm glad it's over, but I will miss it!

Michael is a great coach!

January Snow

Monday night we got more snow than I've ever seen! We got about 9 inches of snow! It is very pretty for the first day or so, then it starts to harden and it's not so pretty anymore! We are learning how to cope with the snow, given than we've never had to deal with it before! The bad thing is we haven't been in school all week and it doesn't look like we'll be headed back until next week sometime! Here are a few pictures of us in the snow!
The kids haven't really gotten to play in it much because they both decided to get sick on us! My poor babies!

Christmas Pictures

We had a wonderful Christmas this year! We traveled south and had Christmas with family! On Christmas Eve, like each year, we went over to Michael's Grandma's house to be with extended family! It's always a blast to be with the aunts, uncles and cousins!

Christmas morning we woke up to find what Santa left for the kids at KK and Papa's house. They were so excited to see what he had brought for them!
After lunch we headed to my dad's house for more Christmas festivities! We had a great time being with my family too!
It was a busy day, but we made some great memories!
