Time Flies...Carrie is 5

Yesterday was Carrie's 5th birthday!! I absolutely can not believe it...man time flies by when you are having fun!!! We celebrated here in Clayton on Friday, June 26 and several of her friends came, it was so much fun, even if it did decide to rain on us!! We made banana splits and the kids played on the playground. Carrie loved all of her presents and mostly enjoyed being with her "friends."

For her birthday Carrie received a new bicycle with training wheels and she loves it!!! We took her to the track to ride and she rode more than a mile and would have ridden longer if we had let her!!! Andrew rode on the tricycle and he rode about 3/4 of a mile, they slept great that night!!!

We have had a great 5 years with our sweet baby and I thank God for her everyday!!! She is a blessing to our family and I love her more than she will ever know!!!

Vacation Bible School

We had a great week at VBS!!! It is a lot of hardwork organizing everything, but once everything is organized the week of VBS is a breeze!!!!

I am so excited to say we had 2 children come to know Christ this year at VBS!! How awesome!! That is what it's all about!

It was a great week!! Now I'm resting up, it was pretty draining...but worth it!!!

By the Lake

I decided this afternoon after naps that it would be a beautiful day to go up to the Rec. Dept. Lake and take some pics, and that's just what we did!!! Then I let the kids go play at the park for a while. It was so nice outside I just couldn't pass up an opportunity to get out in God's beauty!!
