Oh How I love Shutterfly!!!

My favorite time of the year is Christmas!!!! The main reason is that we get to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, but I also love to design my Christmas Cards!
I love to make picture Christmas Cards so that our family and friends that we don't get to see very often gets to see our family! A year doesn't seem like a whole lot of time, but when you have babies there are a lot of changes that take place in one year! I want everyone to see how much my two babies have grown and changed! Plus it's a great way to stay in touch with those that now live far away from us!
The last few years I have chosen to make my Christmas Cards and Calendars  for Christmas through Shutterfly! I absolutely love Shutterfly, for the price you pay you can not beat it! And the quality of their products is amazing! Once I used Shutterfly for prints and other products I knew I would never use another company and I haven't! I could go somewhere else and order prints and such cheaper, but you get what you pay for and at the other "cheaper" places that's just it...terribly quality! Shutterfly is AWESOME and I can promise you if you get a Christmas Card from the Keowns this year it'll say "Shutterfly" on the back!

My Snaggle-Tooth

Finally...Carrie has lost her 1st tooth!
She lost it on Sunday, November 14, with much coaxing! She has been dying to lose a tooth and it's been pretty loose for a couple of days, however she has been scared to death to let me pull it. I must admit it she was driving me crazy because one minute she'd want me to pull it and as I'd get my hand in her mouth she'd start crying, I was getting frustrated! Finally, Sunday night I got a hold of it and came right out...she was so EXCITED! The tooth fairy came that evening and brought her $5, she was so happy!
I can't believe how fast she's growing, it seems like she was just getting teeth, now she's losing them! Time sure does fly!

Family Visits

We got a special treat this past weekend! KK and Papa decided to come up for a quick visit! We were all excited to see them, even Michael, however the kids were THRILLED!
We had a great time with them! Now the kids are ready for Thanksgiving to get to see them plus lots more family!
God has blessed us with an awesome family!

Halloween Happenings

For Halloween we went to a friend's house for a Halloween Party. We had a blast! The kids got to wear their costumes, we got to fellowship with friends and then the best thing of all, they got to go on a hayride to trick or treat! Man did they get some candy!
The kids loved it and we had a great time too!

Andrew's 4th birthday

I absolutely can not believe that it is here...Andrew will be 4 tomorrow at 5:41 pm! I still remember this night 4 years ago, I had just seen the doctor for a check-up the day before and had asked for sleeping pills because I wasn't sleeping at 38 weeks pregnant! Well, Michael had picked up the prescription for me and I had taken the Ambien only to be awake all night with contractions! I remember even calling the hospital in the wee hours of the morning, but we weren't ready to go to the hospital! The next morning, October 20 I called the doctor and they said head to the hospital. When I got to the hospital they determined that yes I was in labor and we would have a baby that day! At 1 pm he broke my water and at 5:41 pm we had a brand new baby boy, whom we didn't have a name for...a couple hours later we decided on Andrew Michael Keown! He is a joy and 100% boy! God has blessed our family by giving us this precious life to take care of, we are so proud of him!

Tonight, October 19 we decided we would go ahead and celebrate his birthday because tomorrow is Wednesday and we'll be at church until late. I cooked supper for the four of us and we had birthday cake and gave Andrew the coolest present a 4 year old could want, a "dirt track" as Andrew calls it (it's actually a bicycle that looks like a motorcycle). I was worried he would be disappointed in this year's birthday "party" because we weren't doing a whole lot to celebrate it as far as family and a party goes, but I think he was really excited to have his "dirt track." I look forward to the many miles that he will be putting on this bicycle! Happy Birthday to my sweet "little man"! I love you, Andrew Michael Keown!
